Recently, the Office of the Leading Group for Scientific Research Planning of the State Language Commission announced the list of scientific research projects of the State Language Commission in 2018, and BLCU was granted three projects. Among the three projects, the only key project is Dr. Liu Liu's "Study on the Management Mechanism of Spanish Language Norms in the Spanish World"; The two other general projects are Dr. Rao Gaoqi's "Planning and Development of Language Information Processing Technology Evaluation" and Dr. Wang Jing's "Research on the Current Situation of Chinese Communication in Russia and Central Asia".
